Advantages and Disadvantages on 5 Modes of Investments for Getting St. Kitts Passport


With a St. Kitts Passport, you will be able to enjoy visa free travel to 155 countries and cities. It is a tax heaven with low tax rates. You may bring along your family including children, spouse, parents and grandparents. St. Kitts citizenship will secure you overseas identity benefits. When considering applying for a St. Kitts Passport, you may wish to know more about advantages and disadvantages of different modes of investments.

There are 5 modes of investments for getting St.kitts Passport:

 

Option 1&2. Economic aid donation: Contribution investment of USD 150K to Government Sustainable Growth Fund or USD 250K to Government Sugar industry diversification fund program (SIDF) 

Advantages: Money are relatively safe with government.

Disadvantages: Little hope for getting back the capital and gain.

Note: All donations must be transferred from the main applicant's account to a government-designated account

 

Option 3. Property Purchase: Invest USD 200K on real-estate project and be granted with 50% of property ownership.

Advantages: It can be resold after 7 years. Down payment will be refund if application failed.

Disadvantages: Client has no property rights. There may be difficulties to sell. Since the property ownership is only 50%, maintenance fee of later stage may cause disputes. The initial investment is pretty high. At present, this mode does not have much cases. It may be better to invest USD 200,000 in direct finance.

Note: The investment should be transferred to the developer and can be transferred from anyone.

 

Option 4.     Property Purchase: Invest USD400K on real-estate project and be granted with 100% of property ownership.

Advantages: It can be resold after 5 years. Since client has full ownership, it is easier to sell. Down payment will be refund if application failed.

Disadvantages: The initial investment is the largest among all modes.

Note: The investment should be transferred to the developer and can be transferred from anyone.

 

Option 5.     Financing: 90,000 financing (one-time)

Advantages: The investment is the lowest among 5 modes. 100% full refund for unsuccessful financing.

Disadvantages: The financing matter is a little complicated to understand.

 

Q&A on Financing Option

1.     Is there a policy for financing? Yes, it is same as property purchase. For the client, it is a one-time payment of $90,000 in interest on the purchase price.

 

2. What documents do customers need to sign? Two documents: 1. a real house purchase agreement submitted to the Immigration Bureau. 2. a financing agreement for financing to developers at later stage


3. What is the property that the customer purchased? This does not cause entanglement. First of all, the house project must be approved by Immigration Bureau. The customer does not have any interest in the property. The 100% refund guarantee for unsuccessful financing will be implemented in the agreement.


4. Does financing affect identities? No, because the client will receive the St. Kitts Citizenship Certificate and the St. Kitts Passport after being approved to pay all fees. With citizenship certificates and passports, the client has Saint Kitts’s identity. When you update your passport, you only need to provide a citizen's certificate. No other documents are required.
