Temporarily no more Canada Permanent Residency by Provincial Entrepreneur Stream
  • Posted 21 Oct ,2018

Canada is the world's second largest countries with 10 province and 3 territories. Each of the province has its own Provincial Government for better manage the countries' economy and society. The provinces can set up their own policies on immigration, which make the Provincial Nominations before those immigrants' application go through the Canadian Federal Government. (The Quebec Government is not included for this PNP topic.)

From the above screen capture, the Canada New Brunswick Government has announced that their Provincial Nominee Program – Entrepreneur Steam is temporary closed. It started taking affect at the moment f announcement, without any notification beforehand. All the application received from now would be deleted immediately. This program, later referred as NBPNP, is the only entrepreneur PNP program in Canada which grants one-stop Canadian Permanent Residency. This NBPNP had closed before and re-opened in September 2017. At usual, the Provincial Immigration Department will need to sign a 2-year immigration legislation agreement with the Canadian Federal Government. This policy change is a piece of shocking news. As a prediction, the NBPNP will also be transferred to obtaining Work Visa first, or completely be deleted!
